So this year our family won tickets from the White House Easter Egg lottery (woot,woot)

I have been finding my two sleeping in the oddest of places.
This one just couldn't make it up the stairs.

I could barely open this ones door in the middle of the day. I guess it was really comfortable.

Earlier she got the camera and documented how much she enjoyed snack time.

Happy Easter

The other day we spotted some deer very close to our house in the backyard (which is a forest.) Girlie was able to watch them for awhile.

Our late snow fall and I think this maybe our first snowman (or woman.)

She LOVED taking rainbow cupcakes into her school for snack!

She asked me when she was going to turn 5 because she still looked 4.

and she has learned to swing all by herself!

Inaugural Ball

 At the last minute (6 hour notice) I was invited to one of the Inaugural Balls. Sure sounds fun!

I was told to wear a regular dress and I'd be fine. I should have known Ball = Gowns. I told myself "you're never going to see these people again, whatever."

And the performer was Lady Gaga. I never would have thought I'd be going to Lady Gaga but I never would have thought I'd be going to a Ball either. She is a good  "live" singer and it was fun to have front row entertainment. She sang one song with Tony Bennet. The President and the Vice President also gave a small Hooray Speech. The President and the First Lady are pretty cute together.
