Children's Science Museum

We attend the Children's Science Museum with some family on dollar night. Everyone was just a dollar and the kids had a blast! When we were leaving lil miss repeated "again, again, again..."

...She's in her room reading books, sigh, what a cutie!

 

When I was teaching I had a girl who could read far better then my other students. Her mother told me she used this book to teach her. I have not used this book but I may use some or all the ideas in it. Just passing along some interesting info.

Well, we had the record breaking snow storms. The power was out for about 23ish hours. Not too bad but it got cold! Lil Miss had a grand ol' time playing in it.

Goodnight Stories

 

Before we put Lil Miss to bed we read her stories. Some of my favorites are books about going to bed. I think if we read about going to bed then she'll want to go to bed, I think... Anyways some that we have are: Time for Bed by Mem Fox, If you Were My Bunny by Kate McMullan, Night Night, Baby Bundt by Jamie Harper, and Goodnight Moon by Margaret Wise Brown. Any other suggestions? What are some of your favorites?
