My little baby girl has been sleeping through the night for about three weeks now!! She is so amazing! We put her down and she falls asleep around 9 p.m. and she sleeps to about 6 or 7 a.m. Thank you Madelyn!

Zoe found this baby bird in our backyard (she was carrying it around in her mouth.)It didn't seemed harmed, just roughed up some. So I decided to nurse it better or at least until it could fly. I made a little shoe box home for it and would let it out every so often so the other birds would feed it. It worked for about three days until the other birds decapitated it. Sad Day

Gifts

A little boy in my nursery class gave Madelyn a pillow his mom made. It is super cute, I love it! Madelyn is also showing off the blankets made by her great Aunt Jana (I think that's how you say it.) Thanks Aunt Jana, they're great!!!

garden

My mother came down over the long weekend and helped me designate a corner of my yard for gardening. Thanks mom, you're the best!

The planting so far: moon flower, lavender, tomato, basil, cucumber, beans, sage, peppers, parsley, fennel

Hopefully I can keep it up and keep everything alive. Wish me luck!

Audition Tape 1

This is lil miss's 1st audition tape for, So You Think You Can Dance. I think she will get in.

Zoe enjoys cutting the grass

Spring time brings many great things pollen, bees, and cutting the grass. As you can see Zoe enjoys cutting the grass. As hubs was putting the lawn mower away Zoe took the opportunity to roll in the freshly cut grass. She just wanted a new look. Being all white can sometimes get boring.

Anger Management

Hubs has started teaching an anger management class for those juveniles on probation who have been court ordered to complete the course. After meeting them in his class, almost all of them said that, "they were not angry, people just make them mad." It is fascinating that we as individuals have such a hard time accepting responsibility for our actions. We always want to blame something or someone else. It is a great challenge trying to reach these kids. Any suggestions?

Lil miss's 2 month check up

Lil miss went for her 2 month check up this week which was a lot harder on us than it was on her. She received her first rounds of shots and screamed. Luckily she was only upset for a little while and then back to her normal cheerful nature. She loves it when someone talks to her and often tries to talk back. She especially loves grandpa Blake’s singing. Her newest thing is to smile and blow bubbles with her spit; such a lady. She weighs 10 pounds, 10 ounces, which puts her in the 45th percentile and 23 inches long which puts her in 73rd percentile. Skinny and tall dad is already worried.

lil miss's Blessing

May 4th was a great day for our family. She was a perfect little girl during her blessing. In fact she slept through it. Hopefully she listened a little. It was fun to have some of the extended family at her blessing, thanks to all them, we luv ya! It was a great day.
